How much do profile letters cost?
The cost depends largely on the letter height: LED individual letters from 30 cm start at around 150–300 EUR per letter (aluminium, front-lit). Stainless steel profile letters from 50 cm upwards are priced significantly higher depending on illumination type and finish. Factors such as installation effort (scaffolding, cherry picker), electrical work and permits also apply. We provide a binding quote after an on-site survey — the initial consultation is free.
Illuminated or non-illuminated -- which is better?
It depends on the location and intended use. Illuminated profile letters (LED, front-lit or halo effect) offer 24/7 visibility — ideal for shop facades, company buildings and commercial areas. Non-illuminated individual letters in stainless steel, aluminium or acrylic glass look premium during the day, are approximately 30–40% more affordable and require no power connection. They are also ideal for interior spaces. We are happy to advise which option suits your location.
Do you also install the lettering?
Yes — we provide the complete service from a single source: planning, production in Linz, delivery and professional installation by our own team. This includes electrical work (hardwired or socket connection) and support with building permits where required. Installations are carried out throughout Austria and beyond.
How long does LED illuminated lettering last?
Modern LED modules have a very long lifespan. Compared to conventional fluorescent tubes, LEDs consume up to 70% less energy. The technology is also low-maintenance.
What types of illumination are available for lettering?
There are three main illumination types for profile letters: front-lit (light shines through the acrylic front — maximum long-range impact), back-lit/halo (light directed at the wall — elegant halo effect, particularly striking on dark facades) and side-lit (lateral LED illumination within the letter profile). Combinations such as front+halo are possible and create a particularly three-dimensional effect. We advise which type suits your facade.
